BECOME A MEMBER
By becoming an individual or corporate member of Bienvenue à Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, you participate actively in the mission of the organization by being a change agent in the neighborhood. In addition, you have the chance to contribute to the development of more harmonious intercultural relations and to support newcomers to the community of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
The annual membership is free. As a member, you will have the right to attend annual or special meetings of members. You will also have the right to apply for a seat on the Board of Directors of Bienvenue à Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.

Definition
A member is any person who subscribes to the organisation’s objectives, by-laws and internal management policies, subject to payment of an annual fee set by the Board of Directors.
The membership period runs from April 1 to March 31 of each year.
Members who fail to renew their membership within thirty (30) days of the start of the membership period are automatically removed from the membership list.
Admission requirements
To become a member of Bienvenue à Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, a person must satisfy the following conditions:
- Apply for membership.
- Adhere to the objectives pursued by Bienvenue à Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in accordance with its letters patent.
- Agree to abide by the general by-laws and internal management policies.
- With the exception of honorary members, have paid their annual dues to the organisation for the current year, where applicable.
- The Board of Directors may, by decision, establish procedures to ensure that any member meets the conditions for admission.
Membership Registration
Bienvenue à Notre-Dame-de-Grâce is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the integration of immigrants (newly arrived and others) into Notre-Dame-de-Grâce community life and society at large, as well as promoting intercultural relations.
Our lines of action
- Welcoming: We have information kiosks to directly inform immigrants about services, organizations and the activities of the community being at their disposal
- Break the isolation: strengthen the sense of belonging and training: we organize social integration activities that bring individuals together in cultural activities and training workshops
- Accompanying: We assist newcomers in their efforts of integration through meetings with an agent of integration
- Preparation for employment: we offer career development opportunities to the participants and we value their contribution to the development of the community
- Partnership and intercultural dialogue: we work with community partners to better meet the needs of immigrant families
