Saturday scholars

towards academic success

The project aims to support immigrant families with kindergarten children (5-6 years), fostering school perseverance and academic success following the teachers’ strike. The objectives include boosting self-confidence, enhancing knowledge of educational resources, understanding the school system, providing learning opportunities for children, and developing socio-linguistic skills.

Based on these objectives, the family activities and workshops offered as part of this project
will support families in their educational role in order to promote an environment conducive to learning.

The activities will be organized every other, on Saturday afternoons, in-person, either in our premises or in the parks (in summer). Funded by Réseau réussite Montréal, the project will be carried out with the support of our esteemed partners, such as schools, libraries and community centers in NDG.
